My 2007 V 70 (2.4 engine) roars when it is cold.....as soon as it warms up the noise goes away. All services done...it has 98,000 miles on it.

What is hi RPM's and for how long. 1500 rpm at start up is normal for a Volvo as long as its not running at that RPM for like 10 mins, a min or so is normal...

Thanks Mark....It idles at 900-1000...but there is like a roaring sound....as SOON as it is warm....it is gone. ALso...this only happens when it is cold out. Never in Spring or Summer
