Asked by Tina2424 Feb 07, 2010 at 05:41 PM about the 2007 Volvo S40 2.4i

Question type: General

Is there a way to set sound when you lock/unlock the car? It is silent now, but I prefer to hear the confirmation that I have locked it.

Maybe you have been deactivated the "deadlock" function. When this feature is active a bold "shlock" sound is heard while locking. That could work out for you. Deadlock button is located in the center console.
