'07 Jeep Cherokee won't start then starts

You helped some one with this problem before
and your answer didn't post... This is a copy of
what happened..
Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. I began having
issues with it not wanting to start as of this past
Monday. Over most of the day I tried over and
over to start my car with the same results, click. A
warning message flashed on my instrument bezel
reading "Transmission Over Temp" but my car had
been sitting for hours. I looked online and found
feedback to this Transmission Over Temp warning
message which suggested a defective (TCM)
Transmission Control Module. Towards the very
later end of that same day I tried one last time to
start my car and it started. Still having the problem
can you please tell me what I can do to fix this
myself.... Thank you

if it dosn't turn over when you turn the key or you here a click only, try to tap starter with a hammer if it turns over and starts your starter is on its way out. If it doesn't turn over at all then its (the starter) probably toast. hope it works out for you, good luck. P.S. check all starter conections, and battery conections for corrosian and clean them as well.
