why does my tire pressure change randomly

Tires will lose a around a pound for every 10 degree drop in temperature or you might have a leak.

If its more drastic than what tenspeed said it may be a faulty tpms sensor.

Also as you drive, the friction from the tires heat up the air in the tiires and increase the pressure slightly.
