Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix when you turn
to the right it sounds like metal grinding. Any ideas
on what it could be? Checked the brake pads had
just replaced those and rotars a few months ago
they were still fine

You might not belive me but it could be your starter the gear is moving free when you turn rigbt it hits the fly wheel

Mine made a clattering noise every time I made a right turn! Turned out to be the starter thanks Robert from 2 years ago your comment made me change the starter and that fixed it! The gear gets loose and on a right hand turn centrifugal force drags the gear into the flywheel which spurs it and it creates a clatter under the car that is quite annoying!!!
