Go to the electrical aisle in any auto parts store, you'll find kits for adding a fused circuit to your under dash fuse box, either mini-ATM or ATO size fuses. There are usually several open slots to do this at in the fuse box, and it's fairly simple, no special tools needed. You'll also see several grounds at or near the fuse box, usually a big lug with several other ground wires tied to it. Always make sure your components are well grounded. If the device pulls an excessive amount of current, like an amplifier, you may not be able to run it from the fuse box, but will have to run a fused link from the battery. My guess is that you will have no problem running an "add-a-circuit" kit from your fuse box.
