You can run premium, but it is a waste of money in a car that only needs regular unleaded.

W R O N G. It is not a waste of money, premium fuels will clean the fuel system and burn more efficiently and give better miles per gallon, no brainer

On most vehicles premium fuel will do nothing but lighten the wallet. There are some cars designed for regular that will benefit from premium, but not many. Higher octane is more important at very lower elevations, as you go higher in altitude the need for octane is lessened. Perhaps do some reading....http://www.cartalk.com/content/premium-vs-regular-1
