2006 Grand Vitara AC/Heat Problem

Asked by ctrish17 Dec 01, 2016 at 04:45 PM about the 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Grand Vitara. I went all summer with
no AC.. Unhappy lady here. Now winter is on its
way and no heat. Replaced Fan Blower Motor and
Resistor, and Climate Control Module, still not
working. I sent those parts back. Fuses are okay as
is the relay. When Fan Blower Motor is wired
directly to the battery it works. HELP PLEASE!!!

You may want to wire the fan directly to the battery with an inline fuse and a switch inside the car as a stop gap. The heater issue could just be air in the radiator. Look up how to purge air from a radiator, it is easy.
