You have a busted evaporator and that was not steam it was the refrigerant and oil that was in the A.C system.

my grandson bought a forenza 2007 he has the same problem the mechanic said the switch that changes the air flow from hot to cold is broken and he can't find a replacement because they don't make them. the cold air works. another mechanic told him that it was easier to buy a heater for 20 dollar's on line at Wal-Mart. because it cost 1900 to repair the heater. real bummer. I'll take our to a dealer for a second opinion. looking for the part.

my Suzuki forenza burnt the radiator same way oil over heating. mechanic said the fan was out so it was not cooling the radiator. we had to replace radiator, fan, engine I. life's gadget and timing chain. bummer 2000 dollars.head gasket is part of engine
