Truck clicking at startup and now not starting. What could be the cause?

Asked by PeterR May 01, 2014 at 05:41 PM about the 2007 Nissan Frontier LE King Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I think it is the starter but have be told could also be a starter relay.

Your advice would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my 2002 nissan frontier, twice the mechanic replace the starter, replace spark plugs, new battery, cleaned fuel injection, new battery cable so I let him keep my frontier for a month and it stalled on him, so I told him my neighbor placed it in neutral and it started. Now it's working, he replaced the neutral safety switch.
