car will not drive

I have a 07 Nissan Altima the car will go into
reverse no problem but will not go into drive... the
car doesn't make any noise just start up and want
move unless in reverse help!

It sounds like a CVT transmission malfunction. If you have less than 120k miles on your car, the CVT transmission might be covered by the Nissan extended warranty. To qualify for the extended warranty, you will need service records to prove that scheduled maintenance was performed on the transmission.

@jon I kinda had a feeling that it was a cvt issue ... I'll be getting the cvt fixed so I just want to know what could be wrong inside to keep it from driving but still reversing
