What does it mean when the service traction control light comes on and how do you fix it. Its makes my transmission shift hard in the first and second gear.

the traction control light comes on one or more when a speed sensor is bad if you take the car to a parts store they can help you pull the codes as to see which one or ones they are.but from what your saying about the tranny shifting hard could be that the hubs are bad and thats why the light is coming on
