Why is my subaru not starting

My subaru legacy 2006 "push to start"  after changing the
gearbox is now only cranking ie engine turning but not
starting. It has also turned the key light on, on the dashboard

It is automatic im sure it has about 5 gears because when i use the tiptronic mode it gets up to 5
