My CEL light came on steady and the Cruise control started flashing last year.

Asked by Navigator30 Apr 03, 2015 at 06:10 PM about the 2007 Subaru Forester 2.5 X

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The dealer charged me $1200 to replace some hard to get to pollution control valves.  It happened again last week shortly after I gassed up at a Brand X station.  This time I followed advice on this site and removed the gas cap for a few minutes, turned on the ignition and waited a few minutes, then started the car.  Problem solved!
