So I havereplace thermostat 3 times already thermostat keep going bad

Theremostat,usaually don,t go out like this,is car running hot?

How would I know if it's overheating?

Tempreture guage on dash,should not go over half way,if it doe,s then it is running hot.

It doesn't shie its on the bottom and where it show the temperature in numbers its (- - -) F the times that I would change the sensor and thermostat the guage and the other one would work

If temp sensor has been changed,and it worked,then quit again,it will be bad wire,s coming from sensor,check the temp wire coming from the sensor good,sound,s like it may be bad wire,and if you have been driving car,and haven,t smeled coolant,it is not running hot,if you find that the wire is good,may be in the dash,the temp cluster could be bad,

It doesn't smell like it's overheating when I change the thermostat its bad the rubber is stuck where it the thermostat opens and close

If it is doing as you say to the thermostat,it is running warmer than it need,s to,my advice would be,being temp guage isn,t working right,is change the water pump,this may help solve the thermostat problem ,and possibly fix the issue with the temp guage,do ti before it kill,s your motor.

When it had a new thermostat it would never go more than half in the temperature guage

Silly question, but this has happened many times. Is the thermostat placed in correctly? I mean, is it upside right or upside down? There are arrows showing the flow of the water. The water should enter the bottom of the engine and out through the thermostat back to the top of the radiator. Some thermostats are such that they can be put in upside down causing a blockage when the engine gets up to operating temperature. Also when it is hot on the gauge, have someone with a heat sensing gun shoot the engine to see if and where there are hot spots in the engine or cooling system. There is no need to change the water pump before eliminating everything else. Have the radiator hoses checked. A 2007 with factory hoses may be weak and collapse when in operating range which will restrict the flow of coolant. When the car is at operating temp, shut it off and then with a rag wrapped in your hands, squeeze the hoses and see if they are spongy or look bloated. If there is no coolant coming from the area of the water pump, is should be good.

stop buying thermo until you get more definite suggestions. I suggest you consider seriously the above from Carson for example
