Service traction light and abs are on
all the time. I just purchased this
used. 157000. Miles

Have the ABS codes read to know what is going on. Possibly a wheel speed sensor.

Typically caused by bad wheel speed sensor as F_O_R stated. But having the codes read might lead to something else. I have seen a bad ABS module cause this also, but on a different vehicle.
