Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was working on my 07 tahoe ltz with the lights on and
ignition off when suddenly everything went dark as soon as
i tried to start it....I popped the hood and messed with the
ground wire on the battery and everything came back on
again. But now multiple things are not working, like my
headlight switch, steering wheel buttons, all of the buttons
are none functional on the driverside door, radio stays on,
turn signal not working, brake lights not working, heated
seats not working and driverside power seat not working,
only the passenger side works, oh and also the key fob is
not working, everything was working just fine until it died on
me, please help !!

You may need a bcm relearn? Sometimes if battery voltage is lost, some modules may have to relearn or be reprogrammed? Just my opinion. You could take it to a shop or dealership that has the capabilities. Some of the non-working components, the bcm is involved.
