07 Tahoe - Stopped during drive - no reverse, no drive

I was driving my 07 tahoe this morning and my car stopped going. No reverse, no drive,
no 2, no 3.  i put it in 4wd and it made no difference. i think that it may have been shifting
to higher gear or might have been already in high gear cause i coasted quite a ways.  i
may of heard a noise not too loud and didn't seem like it came from under the hood.  any
ideas anyone? thanks

transmission is gone....I just had this happen to my 07 LTZ. do an internet search for "Tahoe transmission problems" and you will find multiple pages about it. My mechanic is going to replace the transmission with one from "Jasper". Had this done on my 02 Tahoe that I bought in 2005 with about 50,000 miles. Had to replace the transmission when it hit about 65,000 miles. It had over 250,000 miles on it when I traded it. Good luck.
