Will A 2WD Tahoe Get Stuck In The Snow ? Even Though It Massive Weight ?

All depends on how deep the snow is. I would put a few hundred pounds of sand/salt in the rear just to be safe.

Or just stay home on the reality bad days.

I live in northern Idaho. Everything can get stuck in the snow.. especially rear wheel drive vehicles. A set of chains wouldn't hurt either.

I've seen trains equipped with snow plows get stuck, 18 wheel trucks, 6X6, 10 ton trucks, jacked up Broncos, and Blazers get stuck in the snow. If you're living south of the Mason-Dixon line, you have no worries. Anything North of Missouri, and 1500 miles East of West of there, you will at some time get stuck in the snow. When you are talking drifts over 30 feet high, wind blowing 30 to 60 MPH, and that's just the fall weather, yes you will get stuck in the snow. Smart driving will be your best guide. Keep bags of sand, shovel and tow rope in the truck. At some time you will need it. Chains are a must also, and keep a blanket and dry food supply and an extra phone charger handy. Road flairs will not be a bad idea either.
