Open the hood and use a hair dryer on anything and everything that's wet, looks wet or could have gotten wet. And DO NOT do that again. :'(

WD-40 also will push out any water and make an electrical connection. You may have caused a crack in the distributor cap if you have one. Next time use plastic bags and rubber bands and the avoidance technique system.

Make sure the starter is dry, but it should be able to stand being hosed down, If you only get a click from the starter, it may have shorted out the solenoid. May have, not did. Make sure it has a dry and cledan connection.

WD-40 is a charm. If you have time look it up and see all the things it does. Amazing. Third best thing since sliced bread.
