How do I turn my headlights off while driving at night?

Question type: General

I have a 2006 Baja. Every year I go to a huge Christmas decoration drive though. My headlights are supposed to be off and I got harassed terribly last year because I couldn't get my headlights to turn off. I just did a practice and couldn't get them off. I'm thinking of taking the fuses out.  Is there a simpler way?

Thank you. I just got a chance to try it. I have the light switch in the off position and I'm testing it at night. The headlights, taillights, side lights, etc. were all on also, so it doesn't sound like its the DRL but it still works. I tried putting a small towel under the slightly raised brake, and that works. I don't need to go up one click which made me nervous. Hopefully my brakes are adjusted properly because this light show is about 3 miles long. I appreciate the advice.
