Scared ro drive

Car been driving fine. Today while
driving the battery sign displayed then
went ofd then the orange wrench
appeared.  I noticed i was loosing
power so pulled over. Turned off  ans
back on. No signals. Stoped at auto
parts they chexked and said the battery
and starter was fine. What could be
wrong?

The serpentine belt tensioner may be loose, causing the belt to slip. (The belt drives the alternator, and power steering pump and water pump as well). Check with the engine off if you feel ANY slackness in the belt. You can also check if you have any trouble codes set, a parts store can scan for those for free, or let a mechanic scan it.
