cruise control

I replaced the rear brakes on my 2007 freestyle and now the cruise control is
not working. can it be because i bled the brakes and the petal is a little  higher
than what it was before. How can I fix please help.

Reset your stoplight switch. Only takes 5 minutes, at most, and requires no tools. A flashlight may be helpful.
