Coolant Guage Rise Then Fall Once
My 95 Chevy Tahoe seems to lose a
fair amount of coolant some how. It
doesnt drip, but does disappear and
can always be smelled after driving.
Ive been told it might be disipating.
After first starting the truck in the
morning, the guage will start all the
way on the left and within the first
five minutes go very near to the red
line on te right. As soon as I see it go
past 210 where it seems to sit
regularly, I take my foot off the gas
and it will quickly creep from the 240
range back to 210 in about 20
seconds. After this initial flictuation it
stays at 210 all day long.
This only happens first thing in the
morning after the car has sat all
night.
Any help as to what's causing the
guage to read so hot and then
stabilizing immediately following my
taking my foot off the gas?
Thank You!
