Out of town

I am taking my 1999 saturn sl2 out of town for a
drive. Coming from seagoville Texas,to Mississippi,
then stopping in Louisiana and spend a few days
their for a weekend. From Mississippi to Louisiana
is about 2 hrs away. I'm thinking since louisiana is
4 hours away from seagoville,then I should make
my stop in Louisiana instead of going the entire 6
hrs. This is my first time taking and risking this car
for a trip like this,I only use it for daily routine
commutes. I just don't want anything bad to
happen while I'm away.

Is your maintenance up to date? Like fluids and filters, Tires inflated, and brakes good? Make sure you have AAA or road side assistance, and a phone. Only way your are going to find out is to try it.

What's some good,but cheap roadside assistance that's the only thing I don't have ?
