1998 Saturn SL
Started fine. Warmed up fine.
Running the heater, radio, charging a phone on
stereo, charging a tablet on cig lighter, running rear

Drove about a block. Died. Everything in center

Turned the key to start it back up, nothing.
Will not start. Stereo, cig lighter, electric locks,
windows, rear dash no power.
Heater working now.
Dash lights and DRL working.
Still, turn key, no start.
Starter checked, good.
Fuses checked, good.
Relays checked, good.

do you have power to your under-dash fuse block? Can you check harness for bad connections, frayed, or worn insulation, especially at grommets where it passes through firewall? May also want to locate body control module and see that it has power. BCM's may be located under dash or under carpet between seats, not sure on a Saturn of your vintage.

Yeah there's two fuse boxes on that car one on the interior one in the engine compartment check both for blown fuses.

do you have power to your under-dash fuse block? Yes. Can you check harness for bad connections, frayed, or worn insulation, especially at grommets where it passes through firewall? I believe he did that. May also want to locate body control module and see that it has power. Where is that? What is that? BCM's may be located under dash or under carpet between seats, not sure on a Saturn of your vintage. What is BCM's? Probably checked.

I'm pretty sure the body control module the BCM is located inside the dash on the passenger side you can take the cap off of the dashboard I believe that's the best way to do it look online how to do that and you can gain access through that or the radio I think if you take the radio out sometimes you can reach the body control module but I would look online to see if you could gain access to that find a way to gain access to it and see if it's your body control module?
