Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Minivan had a strut problem which kept it out of service until that was repaired today. However, it does not start, the starter engages ok and the engine turns but it does not seem to be getting ignition. I hear the fuel pump coming on, but I do not smell any gas, nor do I see sparks when I check one of the HV cables. any Ideas?
