2007 overheated and will not start

Asked by Mark Aug 20, 2014 at 11:13 PM about the 2007 Chrysler Sebring Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

son-in-law was driving home when the top radiator hose blow, notice the ETC light, water pump light, he pulled over and the engine die.  replace the hose filled with coolant, car will not fire, car is getting fuel, changed out the plugs, still will not fire up.  Pulled codes for bad temperature senor & knock senor, pulled the cables to reset computer no luck, will either one of these keep the car from firing. My first thoughts of bad timing senor or timing belt, no codes for either one, checked the fuses none burnt out.  lost for the first time..
