the car starts and runs for 3 seconds and shuts off

If you have a red light on in the dash, it is the theft control. Disconnect the battery and then reconnect. This has worked on my 2006 Cruiser twice now. I would imagine it has something to do with the ignition.

Yes I got a 2009 pt cruiser did the same thing bought a cam sensor saw your message disconnected the battery for 5min engine light off crank like a champ

Battery reset worked but airbag light is always on
