Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Heating gage starts to go up when first started.  When it warms up it goes es
back down to 0.   Does anyone know how to fix this

Check your radiator coolant level. It sounds to me like it is low. When you engine thermostat opens, air enters the engine instead of coolant. The heat gauge drops because air doesn’t conduct heat as well as liquid. If the coolant is low, top it up, out the cap back on the radiator, run the engine and check for leaks.
