Yeah, I know how and I don't even work for cargurus. After removing the 3 mounting bolts, 1 spade connector wire and one cable on a stud (13mm nut), you must remove the lower section of the steering column (2 bolts) or detach steering rack & pinion from sub frame (2 bolts) and push out of the way. You can not get it out without one of the last two steps.

Disconnect the lower 13mm bolt from the steering wheel connector the lower part and slide up and out of the way. It looks like a little drive shaft. You might have to pry out of the way just a little bit one of the transmission lines. Don’t cut the heat shield or fool around with the rack totally unnecessary. It’s a pain in the ass, but the steering wheel coupler is the ONLY THING THAT YOU NEED TO REMOVE IS THE LOWER BOLT AND SLIDE IT OUT OF THE WAY.

Remove heat shield from manifold. Disconnect 2 Stud and Nuts to separate catalytic converter from exhaust Unbolt manifold from engine block lift completely out after disconnecting o2 sensor wire. LITERALLY can do this standing up not breaking a sweat and then proceed to remove starter wires and 3 bolts holding starter in place. Comes out with id say hmmmmm 16” of space.

Once you get wires off and bolts.remove rack n pinion bolts let it hang. There a hose that run down by starter 15mm bolt remove so you can move lines for room. You'll have to turn starter in a upright position 6 and work it out by the steering shaft, there's no reason to separate that cause it will come out in between there and engine..
