Ac went out and it's July

Asked by Guy_71 Jul 06, 2013 at 01:12 PM about the 2007 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Mega Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The blower motor works fine but I can't turn on the ac,recirc,or the back window and
mirror defrost.I also cannot change where the air comes out.I suspect a fuse but not sure
which one it would be.

Look closely at the fuses, if one is blown you can quite easily tell by the missing part of the fuse wire inside.

Should be fuse 32 by the way. This link may also prove useful to you: http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/dodge/dodge-ram-owners-manuals/

I should have mentioned that I swapped some fuses around earlier, anything that sounded like it might have something to do with ac.So just to be sure I checked every fuse in the box for continuity and they are all good. What should my next step be?

Try to get your ahnds on the wiring diagram for your model and year, it will give you an idea of where to look for your next suspect. The fact that there's multiple things not working makes me think that there's a failed relay or a bad ground somewhere.
