1995 chevy cavalier stalling

Just bought this car. Had mechanic service with oil change, air filter, fuel filter, fan. I thought the car was running good. Then it just stalls.  Has to sit about 30 minutes before going. Please help with any answers. daughter's car

Sounds like a fuel pump or fuel pump relay since you can get it to start again after sitting. May also be an ignition module.

if it stalls and starts back up right away or is trouble some starting remove the IAC valve and clean the pintle with throttle body cleaner and inside the throttle body housing. all V6 and 4cyl GM cars have a problem with them getting dirty and causing them to stall.
