"Check Engine" light question

Asked by ItchyHemms Apr 16, 2012 at 04:09 PM about the 2006 Kia Sorento LX 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I live in Canada, and it seems like when I go to the states the CHECK ENGINE light comes on after a day or two. Could this be because of the ethanol in US gas? Or is that a coincidence? Any other things I could check?

Thanks

Andreas
