07 Cadillac STS AWD 3.6 V6 ABS TC PS disabled

Asked by Wrldvsunivrse Aug 15, 2016 at 07:18 PM about the 2007 Cadillac STS V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving my 07 STS AWD V6 the ABS,
e brake light, and traction control lights
came on and became disabled. The power
steering also is gone and the dash displays
service stability, service traction control,
and service steering. I have pulled the
following ABS codes off the car

C0110 Pump motor circuit malfunction
C0899 Device 1 voltage low
C0281 Brake Switch circuit
C0161 (X2) ABS/TCS brake switch circuit
malfunction
C0550 ECU malfunction

Other codes retrieved are

P1793 Wheel speed signal malfunction
P0856 Traction control input signal
U0121 Lost communication with ABS
system control module.

Any expert advice would be much
appreciated as to whether the ABS control
module is faulty or whether it would be
wiring or faulty sensors. Thanks.

If I were diagnosing it I'd plug in drive it and read wheel speed (WSS) in real time this is step one.. The cascade of DTC's are from one or two possible malfunctions, many of these are redundant i.e. U0121 of course it lost communication with the module there is a system malfunction. Next clean and clear the codes and check it again.
