What am i doing wrong????

Asked by stephanyjade Jan 27, 2015 at 08:39 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We are in the process of putting
everything from a 96 camaro rs into a
95 z28 camaro body. We've done
everything we can figure out. We have
fuel fire and air. Turns over and
pretends like it wants to start but still
sounds like it's not getting fuel. I need
help.

Did you also install the ECM for the '96 engine into the '95? Quick check shows the ECM model numbers are different between cars.

Yes i did i believe that the theft deterent module is bad i need to bypass it some how cause it wont turn the fuel injectors on cause hot wired fuel to engine to try that not puttin in the emgine cause has air fire put it back and my securety light isnt on i took out mod and aprt it has a few corroded compents on computer chip so cause i straight wire past it maybe or how the theft deterent mod is 95 my 96 donor has anti theft in body control mod so wont work. So im tryin to figure out how to gas past theft deterent mod the relay so that my fuel pump will prime doesnt now and or turn on without hot wire and my fuel injectors to spray everything else work there was only a ground a vacuum line to body and two plugs to engine bay harness i unbolted ecu and the three plugs into body inside passenger floor board kickpanel where the theft dteterent mod and relay r ??? Hope explained how i did and my issue well enough thanks
