motor knock

I just bought this car the car has a loud knock
coming from the top of the motor ... When I drive it
the knock gets louder when I push the gas pedal
Then goes back to the semi loud knock does
anybody know what it could be

A knock is usually a bad rod bearing on the crankshaft.

Yea I just bought the car thinking it was a quick fix not really a car guy just needed something to get back n forth from work... Just need to get this fixed

Well its a piston and bearings could that be fixed or would it be better to buy a motor

All depends if the crank journal is still good, and no scoring in the cylinder wall, or walls. If they are not, rebuild or look for a new motor.

My 2012 camaro 1ls is doing the same thing not happy! Only has 38k miles and this problem started 2 weeks into ownership of the car !!!
