2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax Allison 6.6

I’m buying this 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax
Allison 6.6 Diesel Engine and I want to know if i
need to add any specific type of flex fuel or dex fuel
to the engine? I’m not to familiar with Diesel engine
trucks and i want to know if the truck will only need
regular diesel fuel or if i need to add any more
additional fuel to keep it updated from not messing
up on me. If anyone can help with this, thank you.

Never put flex fuel in a diesel!!! You use diesel, no other fuel. You may want to use a diesel additive but never, ever use gasoline or gasoline fuel additives.
