Girls gotta learn

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few days ago while dropping my kid off at the
bus my 96 tahoe sputtered once, ran OK then died
and wouldn't restart. It cranks but doesn't catch.
The check engine, brake, airbag lights don't come
one when the ignition is in first position but heater,
lights, radio etc all work perfect. The one time the
dash lights came on it did start. But only once. It's
not the fuel pump or a clog in the fuel line.
I believe it's either the ICM, the ignition coils or the
ignition switch.
It shudders, shakes, misfires, and struggles up hills
that a 350 should fly up.
My question is can I kill 2 birds with 1 stone (ICM
and bad coil) by just replacing this part????

I use amazon cause that's where I found it.

Any help.would be much appreciated as I've only
recently attempted working on my own vehicles.
