Transmission oil?????

Hi there,
I own a 1996 Chevy Blazer LT and so far everything is in order. Now I got a little Problem with the Transmission = it's leaking.

Does anybody know how much Oil the Transmission needs (4 Speed automatic)???

In order to fill the whole thing including the torque converter it take 11.2 Quarts

Thank you for your answer but the problem is, I don't know what you mean with 11.2 Quarts. I'am german and we have the metric system! If you can tell me how many liters 11.2 Quarts are, that would be great.

Well it is a simply conversion, 1 quart equals 0.9463 of a liter. So 11.2 quart would equal 10.59856 liters.

Yeah, you don't for the most part replace that stuff until you fix the leak. Which can be costly and can ruin the transmission when lubricant is swapped.
