1992 Buick Regal keeps leaking fluid.

Asked by GuruCD6YB Feb 03, 2019 at 07:15 PM about the 1992 Buick Regal Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I keep getting high temperature light.  Upon inspection, I find that the radiator was running low.  Added Coolant and and Stop Leak and drove the car.  Stopped the car after 2 miles I get the warning light again and liquid leaks out as soon as I stop.  It looks like it is coming out of two areas.  The first is the descending hose near the front right wheel.  It even leaks from the same place when I add fluid in the overflow container from the same place.  Yesterday, after adding coolant (again!) the leak is now coming from farther back of the engine area.  Is this truly a radiator leak or is it a hose problem?

Get it pressure tested at a shop, they'll find the leaks pretty quick. You might also be able to rent to borrow the apparatus from a local parts shop or tool rental company.
