Sienna is not shifting from DRIVE

2006 sienna, I stopped top drop off my
children, shifted to parking and it never
shifted. I was able to bring it home, because
it was on D but right now my sienna is not
turning on, because is not on parking, it
stayed on D.

Can you see if the gearshift is actually moving the cable on the transmission end. Sounds like maybe the cable came off of the shifter. Trans is easier to see than climbing up under the dash.
