On craigslist do not fall for the I will put the money in your PayPal and for Gods sake don't give your bank account number so they can "deposit the funds in your account" My answer is CASH and CASH ONLY, but I don't see anything wrong with giving out your phone number EXCEPT NOT A CELL, if they get ahold of you cell number they can buy things using your account. But email is better.

A big scam is you can get an email that appears to be legit and coming from Paypay informing you that the funds are now in your account and you can now ship the car. But it's a forge! I think its originating in China. Always beware of someone who cannot come see the car and will buy it sight unseen.
