How do I lower idle speed on a 2007 Toyota Corolla?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Idle speed in DRIVE is 1000 rpm, which, I believe, is causing engine vibration,  All mounts
have been checked and are o.k.  What adjustment mechanisms are there to lower the idle
speed to specs?

Now, armed with all that information 1000 rpm idle in drive is not that far off. My Corolla (same engine) idles at 900 in drive warm...1000 in drive with A/C on, and 1200 at cold start for maybe 3-5 minutes. The idle speed is set by ECU from a dozen inputs. It's not like there is a screw to turn and adjust, and a vibration is maybe a misfire. You might consider an OBDII scan...regardless if CEL is lit or not.
