Asked by MikeandAudra Jul 01, 2016 at 07:12 PM about the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 2-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New spark plugs, fuel pump, MAF,EGR valve, all new filters. Ran great until
one day truck started stalling while driving. It would roll along at Idle just
fine, but once you tried accelerating it would cough and die. Made it home
50 feet at a time. Replaced the MAF and truck ran like a gazelle, except for
taking a few cranks before it would start. Now truck cranks and cranks but
wont start. Replaced spark plugs and fuel filter before MAF issues.
Replaced EGR valve and truck started right up after I put it in. After a test
drive and parking back home, truck will not start. I have spark, fuel, and air.
