After repairing an item the trouble codes should be cleared so if the check engine light comes back on then you know new trouble codes are indicating the correct problem. Do you know what trouble codes you had?

I never get the check engine light. And everything I have been told is wrong has been replaced. Took to dealership but they couldn't find anything wrong. Going to keep transmission fluid level and clean battery cables. Maybe it goes in limp mode not sure and getting very frustrated already put 1200 into it.

Getting a code number U1412 — I have already changed my throttle body, checked my ABS Wheel Sensors. My 08 Dodge Nitro RT 4.0 car will not accelerate over 15 mph. Any assistance? Please help

Also the code could be saying U1418 - I could only see the top of the last number on the Autel scan.
