What could cause ESP Malfunctioning Message to come on, and the check engine light to come on?

ESP Malfunctioning Message came on, and the check engine light came on, while
driving on the parkway

You will need to have the dealer or autoparts store read the codes to tell you exactly whats going on with the car. These are known for faulty camshaft adjuster solenoid which will set off the check engine light.
