I have a 2007 Ford Edge and the dealership wants to charge me $900 to replace a leaking Battery, cable, tray, and holder. Is this an acceptable price?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had trouble with this battery corroding
from the start. I was told that it is typical for
a battery to do this although I am skeptical.

Dealers chArge 120 or more per hour just to see th problem plus the same and more per hour even if it takes them 15 minutes. Plus parts. They are way to expensive. Find a good mecanic that other people trust. Sure they can do it for 1/2 .
