body module sensor

I recently had an alignment done and some how the tech disabled the body module
sensor. how was this possible?

easy, pull the connector. I believe this is part of your safety/airbag system. Probably will not have any trouble, unless you are lookin' for trouble. surprised an 'airbag' warning did not come on. Must have reconnected when done.

Take it back to the alignment shop. I don't know why a BCM has to be disconnected for an alignment. Maybe a auto-leveling headlight or air shock sensor.
