Brake lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brake lights stay on after first time hitting pedal.
Replaced switch three times. Have to remove
battery cables to make them go off. Checked all
fuses and  bulbs.

Have you tried unplugging the brake light switch to see if the lights go off to isolate the problem? Most brake light switches need to be adjusted properly.
